The embryo is stored in a high concentration of saltwater, a brine solution. Our Decap'D Brine has a low hatch rate, so we do not recommend it solely for hatching out. The inner part of the cyst is similar to an egg and can be used to feed corals simply by dumping it directly into the tank near the powerhead. Some of the cysts will hatch into nauplii.
