This option provides a chance to improve facility efficiencies. By utilizing our 2L or 18L cultures it I possible to skip the “prep” phase of algae culture. This would mean no need to prepare glassware or the associated steps leading up to the inoculation of “carboys” or even “sun tubes.\" Our 18 liter cultures will typically provide enough algae to inoculate several carboys or even sun tube(s). This culture is clean and dense but not axenic. It is successfully used to inoculate production systems that last for months in continuous production. It has excellent inoculation power, meaning it can inoculate multiple carboys or cylinders.
